Themed Days

Monday, December 13 – Elf Day
Students will focus on being helpful and learning all about Elves and their Christmas magic.  Everyone is encouraged to wear your best Elf attire!

Tuesday, December 14 – Christmas Tree, Mistletoe and other evergreens
Students will learn about the history of the Christmas Tree and Mistletoe and become botanist as they learn the difference between deciduous and evergreen tree. Decorate yourself and come as a Christmas Tree!

Wednesday, December 15 – All things Santa!
We’ll focus on Santas from around the world and learn all about the Reindeer’s habitat.  You are encouraged to dress as a reindeer, Santa or even Mrs. Claus!

Thursday, December 16 – Polar Express Day
We all love the music and mystery of the Polar Express. We’ll read the book and become transportation engineers through STEM activities.
Don’t forget to wear you PJs or dress as a train conductor!

Friday, December 17 – We LOVE Christmas
Wear your favorite Christmas headgear, sweater and/or Tshirt.  We’ll spend the morning enjoying Christmas games and Christmas music.

 *** Mrs. Pickett will have a book list for Mon., Tues, and Wed.  Mrs. Smith will have STEM activities in Schoology for Thursday. If you find related activities, please share!

Monday – “Baby It’s Cold Outside”- Look for a Special Treat
Tuesday – “Deck the Halls”- Special delivery is coming your way!
Wednesday – “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” – The Snack Shack is back!
Thursday – “Mele Kalikimaka”
Meet at Pinchgut Pies in the Trussville Entertainment District for our Staff Party!   @2:20
