Door Decoration Contest!
This will be a part of Read Across America Week.  Classroom Doors should be decorated to represent a BOOK (not a movie)The Book Title and Author should be a part of your decorations.  You may choose to do your own door or have parents do this for you.  As long as the parents do not come in your classroom, they may decorate during the day and avoid the guest form.  I'll also let them in after school hours or on the weekend. Think about using an idea from the past! The last time we did this??...... 2019!
Judging will occur Thursday morning, March 2. We will give prizes (free copies, book fair bucks and target gift cards) for the following categories.
Most Artistic
Most Creative
Best Use of Students Work
Best Over All
I encourage you to ask parents to do this for you.  If you know of a particular color of butcher paper you'll need, please let Barbara know so we'll be sure to have it.

EVERY student should have an Updated Data Notebook on their desk for Open House!
