PST will meet two more times this year.  If you have any referrals please add them to Campfire with updated STAR or STAR EL scores before the March 21st meeting.

Security Concern Reported:  Teachers continue to use the front office entrance to take their kids outside during the day.  This afternoon (Friday), while 4 parents were standing waiting for Friday Freeze to get here, 2 full classes passed through this way.  Two single students came back in to go back to get something…This more or less throws our safety plan out the window allowing ample time for a “bad guy” to get through the otherwise secured doors into the building.  Please use the front door, the fifth grade door or the door by the art room when taking your class outside.

Thank you for tweeting and sharing about the Cahaba Colleague Combine experiences (#CCC) We have one more day of observations this week. Some of my favorite quotes from the week:

"This was amazing! I've never had the opportunity to see an entire reading workshop before today".

"I learned something new from a first year teacher!"

"Seeing the grade level above mine let me know I need more rigor."

"If all the second graders are working like this, I can't wait until they get to fifth grade!"
