Monday will be the cutoff for nominations for our Last Team Member of the Month for this school year.  Please nominate a K, 1 or 2 teacher.

We will follow CES tradition Thursday!  All teachers on Bus and Car duty wearing fun hats!  Our End of the Year Luncheon will be immediately following the last kiddo leaving campus!  The PTO has planned a "cookout" with dinning in the library.  Lunch will be followed with a brief time of reflection.  Remember your one word? What was the most rewarding experience you had this year? Think about the difference(s) you made in the life of a child.

Don't forget Wednesday morning!  We will be "clapping out" our fifth graders as they leave to visit HTMS.  Some can hold signs/posters and others need to clap! 

Decisions are still being made about our PE schedule for this week.  This is complicated.  Coach G gives awards in every awards program and every awards program is in the gym. As soon as we make final decisions about this, I'll send you details.

Finish Strong - Reminders!
1.  Make sure you are following your schedule.  Recess and lunch (coming and going) times too!  Nancy is having trouble finding students for checkouts.  YIKES!

2.  Student Supervision:  There is NEVER a reason to leave students unattended. You can't "step out of your room" or allow them to escort themselves to specials or PE.  We live in very litigious times so we must be vigilant to follow best practices every day, all day. 

3.  Being on time for your duty post is required. 




We will have our traditional "Clap Out" for our Fifth Graders the morning of May 15th.  Please consider having your class create a few posters or signs that some can hold while others clap and cheer.  EX    Your Adventure Begins!   We Believe in You!  Thank You for being our Role Models!  #RepforCahaba       I'm sure you and your kiddos can think of many, many more!




We will be hosting Paine and Magnolia Teachers for a District Collaboration Monday afternoon.  I'm excited for our friends to be in our building!








May 10th is the Cut Off for our Wall of Fame.  Rosetta and I will check for milestones after school.  This will also be the Cut Off for Dream Box for the purpose of Awards Days
May 13th is the AR cut off for Award's Days
