Help us celebrate our amazing custodial staff! Our staff and students love Mr. Tony, Mrs. ReNaye, & Mrs. Terresa. Please help show them how much we appreciate their dedication and commitment to our school and students by working on some cards/posters. Please get your cards/posters to Kylie Collins by Friday, September 29th. Grace Group will hang up the posters over the weekend and deliver the cards along with their gift cards & goodies on Monday, October 2nd. All three of our wonderful custodians work tirelessly to make our school shine and we want to ensure the know how much we care

Things for Collaboration Time
Plan E-learning - the assignments should take a reasonable amount of time and something useful to mastering the current standards. Remember: We do not grade work that was done at home.

Make a plan for conference day. You need an agenda to make the most of your time.

Educator Effectiveness - Complete your self-assessment, Choose your personal indicator. Remember, our school-wide indicator is "Differentiation"  - This must be finished this week!

Our staff would like to offer support to Candice Tillman and her husband as they both battle cancer. The office will order a meal once or twice a week and Peggy will deliver.  This project is not a part of our Grace Group and doesn't fall under the Grace Group guidelines.  So, we are asking for donations.  In addition, we are collecting cards from classes to add to the meals each week.  Kylie Collins is coordinating the card campaign.  If you would like to donate, you can Venmo Barbara or bring cash to Barbara.  Her Venmo is   @Barbara-Seal

I am SO excited to welcome our new Cahaba Reading Coach, Mrs. Christi Watts.  Christi has been working as an Academic Support Specialist at Paine since 2021.  I think she is going to be the perfect addition to our team and I can't wait to learn from her and with her. She'll be at Cahaba half days this week and full time beginning October 10.

In addition to our new Coach, we've added two ladies as support staff for our special education program.  Mrs. King, is a contract employee with IMPACT.  She is with us 9:30 -1:30 every day and working primarily with our younger friends.  Ms White will join us this week. We will share her with HTHS.  She will primarily be with third grade and be with us 9:45 - 2:15

Two questions to consider from Chap 2.
-Are you investing in the ROOT or the FRUIT?
-Are you a germ or a dose of vitamin C?
