Please remember Sabrina Johnson. Her Grandfather passed away this weekend.  Also, keep Linda Odom's daughter, Laura, in your prayers.  She's still battling GI problems. Can't forget Officer Antonio too! ICYMI, he was hit head on by a drunk driver when he was headed home Friday night after escorting the football team home Friday night.  He's recovering at home.

"We Are Just Fine"

I found myself giving that answer over and over again last week and then this weekend when answering concerned parents and just nosey people!  The events involving our school system and town have been disappointing and troubling for all of us, but I believe Cahaba must set the example for staying focused and true to our path for this school year.  Like many of you, I spent way too much of my day Friday engrossed in Social Media. I'm asking that you join me in committing to be focused and "present" while we are here with our students.  I love this thought from QB Jalen Hurts, "We cannot just feel the temperature in the room, we must BE the thermostat."  We really are fine.  #blazingthetrail   #cahabastrong
