C2C - Sat. March 28

Good morning! I wanted to check in with all  of you and give you some information concerning our journey. 

1.  Please read this article. Read This    We will discuss this briefly during our upcoming Zoom Meetings. 
2. Sometime today you’ll receive a calendar invite for a team Zoom meeting. The Zoom link will be inside the invite. I’ll also send you a short agenda for the meeting. 
3. After we’ve talked, probably tomorrow morning, you’ll receive a link to a sign up genius. Here you will sign up for times, Monday or Tuesday, you  can come to the building to gather anything you may need to work on lesson planning for Classroom to Cloud. Planning will not be done in the building.
4. You can rest on the truth that Dr. Berry, Dr. Logan, April Chamberlain, Jenni Peters, Kelly McGough and Monica Bramlett have done all things necessary for your tasks to be manageable and their support will continue throughout this process.  We all want your primary focus to be on connecting with children and their families. 

I also want to share a quote with you from one of our parents.  Her words validate everything you guys have done this year, last year and even the year before to prepare for times such as this.

They are going to be OK!  They have been leading their own conferences, taking ownership of their learning targets for every grade level standard, and are proficient in technology! They have been setting goals for themselves based on areas of both weaknesses and interests.  Best practices are already ingrained in them by the example our wonderful teachers have been setting since day on!  As parents, we just need to facilitate and provide a positive/consistent environment for them so they can show us what they can do!
