Leadership Team Notes.....

Two questions presented by TAC were considered and suggestions will be implemented.

1.  Concerning STAChe - Next year we will coordinate STAChe Spotlights with progress reports and report cards.  That will give us 6 opportunities to honor classes.  The team agrees that this will help us all remember the dates and deadlines.

2.  There were concerns about Cahaba's coverage in The Loop. I (Tyner) will continue to send things to Mrs. Vernon, understanding that everything we send will not always be used.  I will also set up a folder in the shared drive named Teacher Resources, so teachers can share anything they feel would be worthy of publication.  Once I turn it in to Mrs. Vernon, I'll delete it from the folder.

We also discussed our current Parent Communication Form and the importance of keeping documentation of parent phone calls and meetings.  The team suggested leaving copies of the form in the two conference rooms and also discussing this again during a staff meeting.

I also asked for input regarding a Spring AR/Reading Challenge.  We will have one that starts two weeks before Spring Break and extends two weeks after Spring  Break.  Rewards will be scheduled for the week after testing. Goals will be grade level goals.  Teachers and admin will set goals together.
