Faculty,
It is very important that you understand the importance of keeping your password protected. Because all resources that are used within Trussville City Schools uses individual accounts to access, a person who obtains your password can also access these resources such as your email, all information on your laptop, student information whether stored on your laptop or within Chalkable, etc. All substitutes have their own usernames and passwords to login to a laptop/computer. If they do not know their information, they must contact the Technology Department at 228-3020. If you choose to leave work for a substitute that requires the use of technology, ask them to make sure they know their login ahead of time. Below are statements from the Responsible Use of Technology for Staff agreement that was reviewed by Stephanie either face to face or through online video. If you have any questions regarding password protection, please email me and April Chamberlain.

· Any attempt to violate the provisions of this agreement may result in revocation of the staff member’s access to the computer/network/Internet, regardless of the success or failure of the attempt. In addition, monetary responsibility, school disciplinary action and/or appropriate legal action may be taken.
