Let's Clap Out our Fifth Graders!
This Wednesday we will Clap Out our Fifth Graders as they load buses to go to the middle school. Please take a minute or two this week to make some signs. Half Sheets of poster board are good and you can also use some butcher paper from the work room. Please Coach your students up! They need to yell and clap! If you have party horn or other noise makers, those are permitted too.
All third and fourth graders can spread out on your hall
Second grade please fill up the "short hall" by the cafeteria and work room.
Kindergarten please fill in the spaces between the cafeteria and the front doors
First grade can line the walk between the front porch and the street.
Fifth Grade Mystery Day - Friday
Please plan to be flexible! We will not have any Specials Friday. However, our Specialist will reach out to you with a schedule to make sure that Friday is everyone's "No Special Day". We will also be using All parts of the campus. There will be times you cannot use the track, library, gym (PE will be outside) and fields behind the school. I'll send that information to you asap.
Help me make sure our PTO knows how much we appreciate them!
Beginning next week, their will be a place for you to leave "Thank You" notes to the PTO. Below, you can see the way the box/bags will be labeled. You may write individual notes, your team can split up the responsibility and sign notes together. This is really important. These ladies have servant's hearts and they need to know how much their kindness and hard work is appreciated. Deadline: MAY 20
Michelle Daniel - PTO President - Involved in every single thing the PTO has done this year and for the last 6 years.
Loke Banks - Served as Vice-President this year will be our President next year. Super involved in Merry Market and the Leprechaun Run. She also provided support for all of our events.
Cissie Harrington - Before the re-opening of the school, Cissie was the only PTO person "inside". Not only did she handle all the treasurer responsibilities she was everyone's GO TO person for distribution, copies and pulling items from the closet for others.
Mallory Pruitt and Celeste Ward - (can address them together) Set up and followed through with all Spirit Nights and were the point people for Fund Raising efforts
Angela Burton - Angela was our "go to" person each and everytime we needed volunteers. She also coordinated all things with the room moms. This includes the "Bright Spot" that we enjoyed every month.
Jennifer Bethune, Donna Franklin, Angela Burton and Vicki Higgins - (can address them together) Teacher Appreciation Week, Christmas party, surprise Spring Party (city bowls) Beginning of school teacher appreciation and support
Lauren Bone - Decorated the school for every holiday!
Chelsea Greene - Friday Freeze Coordinator
Kristen Turner - PaceSetter certificates, gift cards, candy and management
Leah Lindsey - Yearbook - This is such a HUGE job and commitment.
If I've left out someone, please let me know and I'll add them.
Congratulations to Mrs. Rosetta for earning her Educational Specialist in Educational Administration from the University of Alabama! You are a busy lady!
