Focus on the Handbook..............
You may have noticed an app on your students' clever dashboards. SORA is a new eBook resource. SORA hosts over 200 ebooks purchased for Trussville City Schools and connects our library to the Jefferson County Library Cooperative. This connection will give our students access to all of the juvenile eBook collections available in the JCLC. Mrs. Prickett will be teaching students how to use this app during library class.
Don't forget Constitution Day and Citizenship Day - Thursday, Sept. 17 - Please share your noteworthy lessons with a picture.
Tuesday - Popsicles for Summer Challenge - Names will be called by grade level. Students will come to the front hall to pick their's up. They will have to bring it back to your room due to lack of personnel to supervise and weather concerns. I plan to start with the younger students first.
Friday - Pizza party for the students who completed all parts of the challenge @ 1:30, I will call their names. Husky Paw Prize Patrol will come by right after at 2:20.
New Schedules are posted in the Teacher Resource Drive. This is the Third Rotation. Check Lunch room Line and table assignments carefully. Let me know if you see problems.
