Thank you to so many of you that were able to come to the Glow Down.  The PTO issued 500 arm bands and they told me that 38 of them were teachers! They were thrilled to see so many of you there! You are a dedicated and thoughtful bunch!

This week is Read Across America Week!  That includes the Book Fair, Guest Readers, GATe Marketplace, Book Character Parade (K/1), Family Night and Dads and Granddads Breakfast. I plan to send you an email every morning giving an update for the day.




When your guest reader(s) come to your class please make sure that ALL your students are included.  Don't forget your kiddos that are on an IEP or may be in TTR. 






Lunch guest MUST sit at the visitor tables.  ONLY school staff or student interns are allowed to sit at the tables with the students.  Guests may only take their child with them to the visitor's table, unless you have a letter from another child's parent giving them permission to go too.  





We'd like to give the Bertram family another cleaning for their house, in the form of a gift card. Tuesday will be the last day to contribute!  









Please remember CES parent conference times;  After School: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday   During your planning time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.  All conferences should be held in one of our conference rooms.  If you have no other option, but to have a conference on Friday, please check with me before you schedule to make certain an administrator or Officer Bowen can stay late too.




It's Art Appreciation week at Cahaba too!  We love Jenni Scott and all the visual beauty she brings to our world! Listen for "fun facts about Mrs. Scott" this week!
