Please remind parents that younger siblings may join parents and Cahaba students for lunch. However, they may not join our classrooms when parents come to volunteer or chaperone. As precious as these little friends are, they are a tremendous distraction and take away from the parent volunteers purpose.
We are starting our new Specials rotations this week. A huge shout out to Mrs. Rosetta for working on this throughout last week.
Thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard and stayed late Thursday night for our PALS Academy: Math Night.
Don't miss District Collaboration at Magnolia
Monday at 2:30!
Make sure you've written your student's names on the google form for our trimester celebration. Remember, this is an "in house party". No invited guest!

The "Class Pictures" listed on the calendar will be taken by our PTO for your Class Pages in the Year Book. These are not the pictures we sell to parents.
Veterans Day Program - Friday morning -
FAQ
Do we invite parents? No, we don't have room. Parents of our Show Choir members, Parents of essay winners, parents who are Veterans, other relatives/friends who are Veterans and their care-giver (if necessary) are invited. I'll be sending out a note about this for distribution.
Will all the children sing? Yes, they will sing from their designated bleacher seats. Only the Essay Winners and the Show Choir will be on the stage.
Is there a way parents who cannot attend can see the program? Yes, Mrs. Rosetta will live stream on our FaceBook page.
Will the Veterans be coming back to our classrooms? No. Officer Bowen will watch the door by the Art room and another officer will help with the front door. All guest will need a visitor form and will have to check in through the office.
What do we wear? The kids have been asked to wear red, white and blue. Please dress a little nicer on Veterans Day. Not your Sunday Best, but no running shoes and t-shirts either. We do this out of respect for our Veterans.
Thank you for all you do! Halloween is always a challenging week, but the teaching and learning at Cahaba never stopped! #committed #focused #rigorous #appreciated
