Get Ready for our Annual Christmas Singalong on December 14. Traditionally each grade level and our specialist prepare something fun for the students. Use your creativity! Lip sync to a favorite Christmas song, add in a skit, use real voices - It's up to you! (no students involved - teachers preform on the stage) #itsforthekids
Vision Research will be here Thursday for Kindergarten, Second and Fourth grade.
Things to remember
- The screenings will start at 9:00 am in the Collaboration Room
- You must bring your class when called and stay with them.
- The form that was sent home is an OPT OUT FORM not a permission form.
- Every student should have a form with them. If the parent didn't send it back, you'll need to fill it out for them.
- Any questions, talk to Nurse Dawna
We have three full weeks of school before Christmas. Please help me keep down the flurry of festivities until the week of December 10th. The Week of December 10th will be packed with opportunities to make memories of the season at school. Before then, Math performance tests will be taken by EVERY student the week of Dec 2- 8. We will be expecting our students to meet their mid-year growth targets. We also have District Walk throughs December 3rd, the Child Find Universal Screening for second grade Nov 25 - Dec. 1 and our Fifth grade Spelling Bee November 28th.
Our Staff Christmas party is on December 10th. We will have an ornament swap!
Family News -
Please continue to pray for Tamra's sister, Jamie Kirkes. She's currently in ICU with liver failure.
Angela sent me a message thanking the staff for sending a plant. She wrote, "Please give my love and gratitude to my Cahaba family for their constant love and support."
