2) Set up a meeting for the parents to meet with you and Mrs. Tyner - during this meeting the parents wishes and your recommendation will be documented
You may get a request from a parent to allow the sibling of one of our GaTE students to stay after school and wait for Marketplace to start. This is an absolute NO. GaTE students have written permission to stay with Miss Morrison. All other students will got home either as a walker/biker, car rider or bus rider. If you have any problems, please tell them to email me.
To cut down on the number of Visitor's Forms this week, I allowed you to complete this google form Guest Readers PLEASE make sure you have this updated with the guest name, the date and the time they are coming. Also, remind them that they will need to bring their DL for check in with Mrs. Nancy. Please SEND pictures or tag me in the ones you post. This is a magical week for our children and such a fantastic opportunity for our community to see all the great things you are doing.

It's time to Nominate for Team Member of the Month! This month we're choosing from our classified personnel. This includes assistants, para-professionals, cafeteria, custodians, and office. Previous honorees from this group are Nancy Estell and Barbara Seal. Send me your nominations!
Thank you all for supporting our Book Fair by forwarding all the information to our parents. Everyone has a shopping time this week during their library time. They may also shop with Dads and/or Granddads Tuesday and Thursday morning until 8:20. And, they can shop Thursday evening 4-7. We will not pull students from instructional time to shop.
- Posting will be turned OFF at 8:00AM Monday, February 26.
- Grade Verification Reports will be printed and put in your boxes for you to CAREFULLY Check. Let me know immediately if you need to make any changes and I will turn posting back on for you. I will reprint the verification report after you complete you corrections.
- Grade Verification Reports are due to me at 8:00 Tuesday, February 27. Last page needs to be signed and dated, all other pages need to be initialed.
- Report Card printing will begin and they will be given to Mrs. Tyner for her to look over. She will let you know of any corrections she sees that need to be made. Once again, I will turn posting on for the corrections to be made, verification will have to be reprinted as well as report card(s).
- Report Cards will go home on Thursday, March 1.
Dancing Drums Alternate Schedule for Tuesday - February 27
All typical specials and PE will be canceled. Please follow the schedule below and bring your students to the gym at their designated times. You do not have to stay with them. The program will last approximately 50 minutes. The specialist will supervise and walk them back to your classrooms when the program is over.
2nd Grade: 8:15-9:05
3rd Grade: 9:15 - 10:05
4th Grade: 10:15 - 11:05
5th Grade: 11:15 - 12:05
Kindergarten: 12:45 - 1:35
First Grade: 1:45 - 2:45
Wednesday is our PaceSetter Party for Kindness - 2:00 in the cafeteria
Our Kindergarten and First Graders are having a Book Character Parade Thursday Morning. We'll ask that all other students line the hallways to watch the parade immediately following announcements Thursday morning.
Thursday Night is our BIG Open House - Please plan to be here during the times designated for your grade level. Students should have work samples and their data notebooks (updated) to share with their parents. If you aren't in your room, PLEASE lock up!
Our Trimester Celebration will be Friday afternoon at 1:45. It's an Olympic Theme and our Show Choir will get us kicked off with some great music before we celebrate our students. The format will be the same as last trimester and you'll sit in the same sections.
Your doors will be judged Wednesday and Thursday. I'll have the ribbons placed before Open House Thursday night.
