Weekly Update

Remember, if student interns/observers contact you to come observe their professor must first contact me for approval.  The District is making sure all of these students have had thorough background checks.  Once that's handled, I place the students and ask you to turn in a visitor's form so we know when to expect them.

Please, Please, Please make sure you enter subs into Ready Sub.  Some of you are communicating directly with the sub and forgetting to enter that persons name into Ready Sub.  They show up and we don't why they are here and we aren't prepared.

February is Black History Month and I believe it's important for our students to understand the history of this emphasis and appreciate the sacrifices that African American people made that changed our State and our country for the better. As we work on reading non-fiction books, it's a great time to teach our students about some extraordinary people.
