Health Screenings are set up for Monday afternoon. Cissie Herrington will come to your room and supervise your class so you can go to the collaboration room for your screening. Please do not ask your neighbor to "watch " your class or leave them unattended.
I've sent out invites for Data Meetings this week that will be meeting Tuesday and Friday in the Collaboration Room. There will not be any other scheduled grade level collaboration in the Collab Room this week.
Don't forget our Prayer Group will begin meeting this Wednesday morning at 7:00 am. This is very informal and voluntary. You are welcome to slip in late or leave early.
Friday will be our Kick Off for our Jump Rope for Heart Campaign. Please wear Red and encourage your students to do the same. Friday is also Friday Freeze.
I'm super excited about Cahaba's participation in the Mercedes Marathon this Saturday. We have 85+ kiddos participating and 15+ staff members committed to help. Everyone is welcome to come and support, Coach G and the best PE program in Alabama.
We will not have a Staff Meeting Monday afternoon. Second Grade has a play Monday night and all the teachers for CES EnRiCh need to meet to finalize plans for this session. that starts Tuesday.

February is Black History Month and I believe it's important for our students to understand the history of this emphasis and appreciate the sacrifices that African American people made that changed our State and our country for the better. As we work on reading non-fiction books, it's a great time to teach our students about some extraordinary people.
