Heads Up! - Lisa posted the NEW Specials schedule for this trimester last week. Please make sure your parents are aware of the changes.
We have a new schedule for MSL/dyslexia therapy/Amy's kids. Please make sure you are sending your students. If they don't come Amy will ask the office to call for them. She will either send them in pairs or walk them back to your room.
Take a minute this week to explain to your students about the Buddy Bench.

2. Complete all the standards assigned to their grade on DreamBox
3. Score 95% or higher on the Reading portion of the Performance Assessment
4. Score 90% or higher on the Math portion of the Performance Assessment

Monday Night, 7pm, is TCS Twitter Chat. Please consider joining in! We had a great group from Cahaba last month.

Family News from Sherry Williams ---John and I are trying to get ready to head to Destin. My mom, who's medically fragile, is having emergency surgery to remove part of her colon. She basically had a heart attack of the colon, blocking the artery which provides blood supply to the colon, so her colon is dying. This probably happened days ago, but since she's numb on right used due to stroke 23 years ago, we are guessing she didn't feel the pain until it became excruciating last night. Apparently, it's too late for antibiotics or other recourse. Dad is not in good health either. There's no one else to help them. I am not sure how long I will be out. Please let teachers know not to send students until further notice
Please keep Sherry in your prayers.
Be Thankful
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
