Please give your students the following writing prompt ......
I appreciate our Veterans because.....
All students in grades 2-5 should participate. Participation in grades K-1 is voluntary. Teachers should turn in no more than 3 essays per class by November 1 to Mrs. Tyner. A winner from k/1, 2/3 and 4/5 will be chosen to read their essay during the program on Nov. 9.
Announcement Helpers for this week: Kindergarten
PST will meet Thursday.. Please make sure you enter STAR data that is current into Camp Fire. (No older than 10 days) Everyone in Tier 2 or 3 Reading, students currently being monitored by the PST or new referrals will all need to be retested!

Our professional development tomorrow will be facilitated by Jill Lay and Kelleigh McLeod. Jill is a Reading Coach and Kelleigh, a Kindergarten teacher in Madison, MS. We'll be focusing on differentiation and creating rigor. They will also be available during collaboration time Tuesday. Please plan on bringing your computers. We'll be using myOn and Study Island.
