Guidelines for Visitors
- Lunch Guest - All lunch guest much check-in with the office and present their ID. They will be given a sticker for the lunchroom with their name. There is a PARENT TABLE --- Parents may sit at this table with their child. They can't take friends with them.
They can't sit at your table. You don't need a visitor's form for lunch guest.
- Conferences and helpers during your planning: These visitors do not need a Visitors Form. However, you MUST notify Mrs. Nancy that they are coming,
or they will not be allowed to leave the office. They will also need to present
their ID and they will receive a visitors pass.
- Guest during instructional time: We should only have have guest during instructional time if they are contributing to instruction and enhancing the curriculum.
You must have an approved Visitor Form for them to be welcomed.
Please make sure you put those in Mrs. Tyner's box at least 24 hours
prior to the guest(s) coming. They will also present their ID and receive a visitor's sticker.
Veteran's Day Essay Contest
Please give your students the following writing prompt ......
I appreciate our Veterans because.....
All students in grades 2-5 should participate. Participation in grades K-1 is voluntary. Teachers should turn in no more than 3 essays per class by November 1 to Mrs. Tyner. A winner from k/1, 2/3 and 4/5 will be chosen to read their essay during the program on Nov. 9.
If you are asked to send information to anyone (tutor, doctor, therapist), we must have a "3rd Party Form" on file in the office.
Once you get the form signed, please get it to Mrs. Tyner.
Turn Trussville Pink is Wednesday - Please encourage your students to wear pink. Coach G is working on decorations for the school.
Let her know if you can help.
Please encourage your class to participate in the Rock a thon. Pledge money is due Friday. We have an amazing PTO. NOTHING makes them happier than to collaborate with all of you. I'm looking forward to fun times on October 28th.
Collaboration this week.......
Kelly McGough will be available to work with literacy teachers on the upcoming LC Units of Reading. Lisa will be around to answer questions about upcoming math units. AND, 2-5 literacy teacher will have access to a Study Island representative. If time permits, Kindergarten will revisit Student Data Tracking.

Can you show a parent/student how to login to access "extra help" work?
Can you print a report for student data for PST?
