The Trussville Police Department will be conducting Active Shooter Training at Cahaba July 19, 20 and 21.  No staff should be in the building on those days.


Extended School Year classes will be taught at Cahaba  July 11-14 and July 22-25.  Teachers will be using rooms on the front hall 8:00 -11:45.

Breakfast for newly registered Kindergarten Students and their parents, July 25 in the library.

Asher Stone Wilson was born Wednesday, June 22.

Angela Shorter's knee continues to give her problems.  Please remember her in your prayers. Due to swelling and pain, her doctor has put her on limited activity.

Michelle Searcy's Daddy, Michael Lawless, passed away Friday. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28th 5-7 at Deerfoot Memorial.  Additional visitation at Central Baptist Church Wednesday, June 29th 9:30 -10:00.  The Memorial Service will also be Wednesday at Central Baptist Church at 10:00 am.  Mr. Lawless will be buried at Jefferson Memorial.

Hello Summer!





The Waxing Crew is all finished!  You can come into the building and your rooms any time! 


Thank you for writing "Thank You" notes to our PTO ladies.  They were touched by the gesture and your words. It was a truly meaningful act of gratitude.


I also wanted to commend you on your work on your PLPs. The evidence that you all provided was so enjoyable to read. I found myself reading and smiling a bunch!  I was particularly impressed with  your evidence for our School Wide indicator of Academic Discourse. Thank you for your diligence. This is something we can build on as we consider our indicator of focus for next year.


Please continue to remember Michelle Searcy's Dad.  He is still in the hospital and progress is very, very slow.

We welcome Taylor Lipford as a permanent staff member!
