December the 18th is a teacher work day. You may work from home or at school.  You don't need to clock in!

We will not have PE or Specials Thursday.  If you would like to show a Christmas movie, rated G, you may choose to do that Thursday morning.  Students will be called by classroom to pick up lunches.  Please make sure you are in your room!  I'll start around 10:30 with Kindergarten.

Please plan on making sure all food is out of your room, personal refrigerators and the refrigerators in the workrooms.  

The myOn Challenge was a huge success! Our myOn rep, Christie Collee, is providing almost all of the treats.  We aren't completely set on details for distribution, but I do know:  Candy Canes - Monday, Hot Chocolate w/ Tyner - Tuesday, Ice Cream w/ Santa - Wednesday.  We will do our best to not interrupt parties. If Mrs. Prickett asks you to help, please, please do everything possible to help!

Keep a watch on your favorite weather App.  If the chill factor is in the 30's we probably need to have indoor recess.  Conversely, if the chill factor is above that, our kids really need to get out for their 15 minutes!

We're still having a little trouble getting into classrooms and settled by 8:00.  Let's make a concerted effort to get the kids up and moving towards their rooms no later than 7:47.  If you are in the cafeteria or library with the kinders, you can send them at 7:45.  Things to do and no time to waste!

Reminder:  We are depending on Math teachers to notify us when a child completes all the DreamBox standards in your grade level.  Don't forget to send Mrs. Rosetta an email with the students name.

Secret Pal reveal and final gift will be December 17th!

We are planning a Retirement Reception for January.  Most of the plans have already been made, but we are in need of more helpers!  Please let me know if you'd be willing to join, me, Barbara, Donna Franklin , Jennifer Bethune, Sara Wessel, Kathleen Latham, Taylor Harrison, Linda Odom and Tina Fortenberry.
